I used to buy this sauce from my local butcher but he stopped selling it. I don’t know why as it should be very popular. It is absolutely gorgeous with steak or chicken. I couldn’t find anyone selling it so I started buying a variety of makes but none came close to Verstegan. I found my accident that you can buy it on line which is great news. I would prefer a bigger pack like the ones I used to buy but I’ll make do with these.

I have tried many different pepper sauces over the years, both on the continent and in all parts of the UK, and when our local butcher first started selling this brand I was hooked. Even to the bossman getting me a large bottle of the same. Cannot be beaten in my opinion.
