Chilli Con Steak

This family favourite will have customers coming back time and time again, using Verstegen Chilli con Carne Sauce you get that authentic flavour bursting from only the finest herbs and spices.

Ingredients

1kg Rump Steak Diced Small
750g Chilli Con Carne Sauce PURE
25g Bond DS PURE
20g Beef Steak Spices
250g Tin Mixed Beans (drained)
150g Diced Peppers
150g Sliced Onion
2 Tbsp Sambal Oelek (optional for those who like it a bit more spicy!)
Finger chillies for garnish

Method

Coat the steak in Bond DS PURE & Beef Steak Spices.
Add the vegetables & Chilli Con Carne Sauce PURE and gently mix so as not to break up the beans.
Fold in the Sambal Oelek if you would like additional heat.
Display as desired with a garnish of finger chillies.
Oven cook at 160°c gas mark 3 for 40-45 minutes or until cooked through.
