Panna Cotta with Star Anise

Make this delicious dessert with star anise for Christmas. With this recipe, let the family enjoy this fresh and creamy dessert.



Serves 4:
500 ml Whipped cream
1 Stick Vanilla
2 Pieces Star Anise
4 Leaves of gelatin
50 g Fine granulated sugar



Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water. Scrape the vanilla seeds from the Vanilla pod .

Put the whipped cream in a saucepan with a thick bottom and add the pith of the Vanilla , the star Anise and the sugar. Bring this to a boil.

When the whipped cream mixture is boiling, reduce the heat and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then remove the Star Anise .

Wring out the gelatin leaves and stir them through the panna cotta until dissolved.

Pour the panna cotta into 4 ramequines or glasses and let them cool for at least 2 hours and stiffen in the refrigerator.

Tip: Garnish the panna cotta with fresh fruit, honey or a (liqueur) syrup.
