Sausage and Fennel Cannelloni

If you have had success with the ready to cook lasagne, why not give this a try…Sausage & Fennel Cannelloni – serves 2 and is perfect for a mid-week Italian treat!

Sausage and Fennel Cannelloni


30 x Cannelloni tubes
1kg Sausage meat
25g Fennel seeds
1kg Italian herb and tomato sauce PURE
750g Gratin Sauce

Garnishing and toppings

Mozzarella slices
Fresh basil leaves
Spicemix Del Mondo La Spezia PURE

Mix the sausage meat and Fennel seeds together and spoon into a piping bag.
Pipe the mix into 6 cannelloni tubes until they are full.
Spoon 200g of Italian herb and tomato sauce into the base of a tin foil tray and spread evenly.
Place the stuffed cannelloni tubes onto the bed of sauce in the tray.
Cover the cannelloni evenly with 150g of Gratin sauce.

Garnish and toppings

Create a small caprese topping using mozzarella, fresh basil and sliced tomato and place on top of the Gratin sauce, garnish with Spicemix Del Mondo La Spezia.

Cook in a pre-heated oven at 150 degrees for 40 minutes.
