Sesame Crusted Kung Pao Duck

Combining Sambal Chilli paste to Verstegen Sweet and Sour sauce creates an authentic version of Kung poa…perfect for Chinese New Year and for controlling the heat levels.



Duck Breasts
Marinade Chinese Plum
Bond DS
Sweet & Sour Sauce
Sambal Oelek
Sesame Seeds
Sesame Seeds Black
Chopped Oriental Veg – Spring Onion, red Onion, Beansprouts, Bamboo Shoots, Water Chestnuts, Peppers, Baby Corn.


Score the duck breasts and marinate overnight in the Marinade Chinese Plum.
Coat the vegetables lightly in Bond DS and mix with Sweet & Sour Sauce and 10-20% Sambal Oelek.
Dip the duck breasts in a mixture of both sesame seeds and sit on the sauce.

Cook at 170°c gas mark 3-4 for 20-25 minutes or a core temperature of 72°c.
