    I am Coeliac so obviously no gluten at all in my diet.
    I found the Verstegen sauces in the butchers department of my local Farm Shop, they looked interesting so took a closer look.
    Stilton, Steak Diane,Pepper sauce and Mushroom all contain wheat flour!
    The only one not listing wheat/ gluten is the HoneyMustard Sauce, which I purchased, really delicious and piquant
    What a shame that these apparently lovely sauces are not Gluten Free, In today’s market it is a surprise that GF is not being considered by what seems to be a prestigious company.

      Hi, sorry to hear you’re disappointed that not all of our micro sauces are gluten free. As a company producing high amount of products, we like to cater for everyone whether it’s allergen free, vegan, vegetarian or no MSG and so on. We have many professional products used on end products sold to the public carrying our ‘PURE’ logo which means no declarable allergens, lots of our sauces carry this label. With our retail micro sauces, it’s much harder to achieve the same texture as most of these sauces are traditionally made with wheat flour, however along with the honey & mustard, the sweet chilli & smoky bbq sauce are also gluten free.
